Research Interests
Ryan Fellers earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2005, he was granted an assistantship in Dr. Kelleher’s lab and worked on a variety of software projects, primarily the commercial application “ProSight PC”. Ryan worked outside of academia for the next 6 years, gaining programming experience and exposure to the latest technologies (.NET 4.0, etc). He returned to proteomics in 2011 with his current position of Senior Software Engineer and is responsible for modernizing the group’s source code and providing a direction for all things software related.
